Sudoku Cube Flip

Google Analytics for Firebase: thống kê sử dụng

  • tên hiển thị bạn tự đặt (2-16 ký tự) và mã người dùng ẩn danh của bạn;
  • thông tin phòng: mã phòng, chế độ, độ khó, trạng thái, thời điểm tạo;
  • trạng thái sẵn sàng, đang trực tuyến hay không, và lần cuối trực tuyến;
  • trận Đối đầu: số ô điền đúng, số lần sai, thời gian bị khóa bàn, thời điểm về đích và kết quả;
  • ván Hợp tác (từ phiên bản 1.2.0): các số bạn điền vào bàn chung, ô bạn đang chọn, và trạng thái chung của đội (số lỗi, lượt gợi ý còn lại, ai tạm dừng và lúc nào, lúc hoàn thành hoặc thua);

Ứng dụng chỉ dùng quyền truy cập mạng, và trên Android thêm quyền đọc mã nhận dạng quảng cáo (do Google Analytics for Firebase sử dụng, xem mục 2).

  • Google, đơn vị cung cấp Firebase và Google Play Games, xử lý dữ liệu thay mặt chúng tôi;
  • Apple, khi bạn dùng Đăng nhập bằng Apple hoặc Game Center;
  • người chơi cùng phòng, chỉ tên hiển thị và tiến độ trận như ở mục 5;

Summary

  • Sudoku Cube Flip has no ads and does not sell your data.
  • To run and improve the game, the app uses Google's Firebase services: usage statistics (Google Analytics), crash reports (Crashlytics), and an anonymous account.
  • Three features are optional and only send data when you use them: backing up your progress with a Google or Apple account, leaderboards and achievements (Google Play Games on Android, Game Center on iPhone and iPad), and two-player mode (your display name and match progress are shown to the other player in your room).
  • To delete your data: right in the app (Settings → Delete account and backup), or see section 8.
  • The version you play in a browser differs from the app in a few ways, for example it uses no analytics cookies: see section 9.

1Data stored on your device

The app stores on your device: the game in progress (board, timer, mistakes), your long-term progress (total score, rank, games played and won, win streaks, earned hint and undo bonuses), your chosen language, and the display name used for two-player mode. You can remove all of it by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.

2Data sent automatically

The services below run whenever you use the app with a network connection. They are not tied to your name or email.

Google Analytics for Firebase: usage statistics

  • In-game actions: choosing a difficulty, starting, winning or losing a game, ranking up, unlocking an achievement, changing the language, creating or joining a two-player room, opening the share sheet for a room code, and match results (mode, difficulty, win or loss, duration).
  • The screens you open.
  • Device information: model, operating system version, app version, language.
  • Approximate location at country or city level, derived from your IP address.
  • An identifier for the app installation and, on Android, your device's advertising ID. On iPhone and iPad the app does not read the advertising identifier (IDFA).

We use this data to understand how the game is played, not for advertising. Learn more: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports

When the app crashes, it sends technical details about the crash (where in the code it happened, app state, device model, operating system version) along with a random installation identifier.

Firebase Authentication: anonymous account

On first launch the app creates an anonymous account for you. It is only a random identifier, with no name or email, and protects your synced data and game rooms.

Firebase services may log IP addresses for security, abuse prevention, and diagnostics.

3Backing up progress with a Google or Apple account (optional)

If you link a Google account in Settings, or on iPhone and iPad an Apple Account (Sign in with Apple):

  • Firebase Authentication receives that Google account's email address, name, and profile photo, or the Apple Account's email address and name. With Apple you can choose to hide your email, in which case Apple only passes on a relay address. The app shows the name and photo in Settings.
  • Cloud Firestore stores a copy of your progress (total score, games played and won, win streaks, earned hint and undo bonuses, two-player wins and losses) and your unfinished game, so you can restore them on another device.

Signing out stops syncing but does not delete the saved copy. To delete both the account and the copy, choose Settings → Delete account and backup, or see section 8.

4Google Play Games and Game Center (optional)

On Android, the app signs in to Google Play Games when you tap “Connect” in Settings, or automatically if Google Play Games on your device has automatic sign-in turned on. On iPhone and iPad, it uses Apple's Game Center once you tap “Connect”, and reconnects on later launches. Once signed in:

  • Your total score is submitted to the leaderboard, and the achievements you unlock are recorded.
  • The app reads your leaderboard score to restore your total if you reinstall.

This data is processed by Google under Google's Privacy Policy, or by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. Your Play Games or Game Center profile may appear on public leaderboards, depending on your settings in that service.

5Two-player mode (version 1.1.0 and later)

When you create or join a two-player room, the app stores in Firebase Realtime Database:

  • the display name you choose (2-16 characters) and your anonymous user ID;
  • room details: room code, mode, difficulty, status, creation time;
  • whether you are ready, whether you are online, and when you were last online;
  • in Versus: cells filled correctly, mistakes, board lockout time, finish time, and the result;
  • in Co-op (version 1.2.0 and later): the numbers you enter on the shared board, the cell you have selected, and the team's shared state (mistakes, hints left, who paused and when, and when the game was completed or lost);
  • votes to play another round.

Who can see it: the other player in your room sees your display name and match progress, which in Co-op includes the numbers you enter and the cell you have selected. Anyone else with the room code can only read the room's general details (mode, difficulty, status, and the two players' anonymous IDs), which is what joining requires; they cannot see names or progress. Your display name is never sent to Google Analytics.

How long it is kept: a room is deleted when its players leave, and a waiting room is deleted as soon as its host leaves. If a match is abandoned, for example because both players lose their connection, the room's data may stay on the server until its code is reused. You can ask us to delete it as described in section 8.

Sharing a room code: the Share button opens your device's share sheet. The invitation (the room code and a link to download the app) goes straight to the app you pick, not through our servers, and we never learn which app you used or whom you sent it to.

Your display name is shown to other people, so do not use personal information such as your real name. You can change it at any time in Settings or on the two-player screen.

6Device permissions

The app only uses network access and, on Android, the advertising ID permission (used by Google Analytics for Firebase, see section 2). It does not access your GPS location, contacts, camera, microphone, or files, and it does not track you across other companies' apps or websites. On Android you can reset or delete your advertising ID in the privacy settings (or Google → Ads).

7Data sharing

We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. Data only goes to:

  • Google, which provides Firebase and Google Play Games and processes data on our behalf;
  • Apple, when you use Sign in with Apple or Game Center;
  • the other player in your room, and only your display name and match progress, as described in section 5;
  • authorities, when required by law.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). The match database's security rules only let the players in a room read that room's data.

8Data retention and deletion requests

Google Analytics user-level data
Deleted automatically after at most 14 months
Crashlytics crash reports
Deleted automatically after 90 days
Your anonymous account, linked Google or Apple account, and Firestore progress backup
Kept until you delete them or ask us to
Two-player room data
As described in section 5

How to delete

If you linked an account, you can delete it yourself in the app: Settings → Delete account and backup. This deletes your Firebase account and your Firestore progress backup; progress on the device stays.

Or email vietdung79@gmail.com with the subject “Delete my Sudoku Cube Flip data”. If you linked a Google or Apple account, include that account's email address; to delete a two-player room, include the room code. Within 30 days we delete your Firebase account, your Firestore progress backup, and any related rooms, and reply to confirm.

Email a deletion request

Analytics and Crashlytics data is not tied to your identity, so it cannot be looked up per person; it is deleted automatically on the schedule above. Data on your device: clear the app's data or uninstall the app; for the web version, clear the site's data in your browser's settings.

9Playing in a browser (web version)

The web version at egiaothong.net/sudoku uses the same anonymous account, the same backup with a Google account, and the same two-player mode as the app. What differs:

  • Data in your browser: what the app stores on your device (section 1) is kept in the site's storage (localStorage), and the anonymous account in IndexedDB. Clearing the site's data in your browser's settings removes all of it. Some browsers, such as Safari, delete this data on their own if you do not open the site for 7 days; link a Google account (section 3) to keep your progress.
  • Google Analytics without cookies: the web version sends the events listed in section 2, but with storage consent denied (consent mode): it sets no analytics or advertising cookies and has no advertising ID. Google still receives browser and operating system details and your IP address (to derive an approximate location).
  • Not in the web version: Firebase Crashlytics, Google Play Games, Game Center, Sign in with Apple, and the Share button for room codes.
  • Linking a Google account opens a Google sign-in window (through Firebase Authentication); the data received is as described in section 3.
  • Files loaded from Google: to draw and run the game, your browser loads the graphics engine (CanvasKit), fonts, and the Firebase libraries from Google's servers (gstatic.com), and Google's sign-in library (accounts.google.com). Through these requests Google receives your IP address and browser details.
  • Web server: the site is served from the egiaothong.net server. Like any web server, it keeps an access log (IP address, time, the file requested, browser details) to run and protect the server. The log is used for nothing else and is deleted periodically.
  • Permissions: the web version asks for no browser permissions (location, camera, microphone, notifications).

10Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
